GTM Strategy Program Manager
Location: San Jose, CA - prefer hybrid but open to remote for rockstar
Duration: 3-5 Months Contract

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Background:
    • Experience in SaaS companies, particularly those selling into Fortune 1000 clients.
    • Previous roles such as Chief of Staff, BizOps Manager, Strategic Program Manager, or PMO lead.
    • Proven success managing cross-functional strategic initiatives.
    • Experience supporting executive leadership (e.g., CEO s office or Office of the CIO).
    • Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Bonus: Experience in ERP
  • Preferred Experience:
    • Consulting background
    • Familiarity with GTM strategy and working with C-level stakeholders.
    • Exposure to product launches and marketing campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic projects across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product Marketing.
  • Drive execution by connecting the dots across teams and managing interdependencies.
  • Package and organize all elements of cross-functional initiatives.
  • Own task management and execution tracking using tools like Asana and Google Sheets.

Description:

We're looking for a strategic, execution-oriented GTM Strategy Program Manager to drive critical initiatives across our go-to-market organization. This high-visibility role operates as a strategic partner to GTM leadership, orchestrating cross-functional programs that accelerate revenue growth and operational excellence. You'll work directly with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Executive leadership to translate strategy into action, ensuring flawless execution of our most important GTM initiatives. If you excel at connecting dots, driving accountability, and turning ambitious goals into operational reality, this role is for you.

What You'll Do:

    1. Strategic Program Management: Lead enterprise-wide GTM initiatives from conception through execution, managing complex dependencies across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams.
    1. Executive Partnership: Serve as strategic advisor and operational partner to GTM leadership, preparing executive communications, board materials, and strategic recommendations that shape company direction.
    1. Cross-functional Orchestration: Drive alignment across GTM functions by facilitating planning sessions, QBRs, and strategic reviews while ensuring clear communication and accountability across all stakeholders.
    1. Operational Excellence: Design and implement scalable processes that improve GTM efficiency, from sales methodology rollouts to new market entry playbooks and customer segmentation strategies.
    1. Change Management: Lead organizational change initiatives including GTM transformations, tool implementations, territory realignments, and process optimizations that drive measurable business impact.

What You'll Bring:

    1. 6 8 years of experience in strategy consulting, program management, or GTM operations within high-growth SaaS or enterprise software companies.
    1. Proven program management expertise with a track record of driving complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution in fast-paced environments.
    1. Executive presence and communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders, facilitate strategic discussions, and present to C-level executives and board members.
    1. Strategic thinking with operational rigor comfortable switching between 30,000-foot strategy and ground-level execution details.
    1. Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, Salesforce, and presentation tools; experience with project management platforms (Asana, Monday, Notion).
    1. Deep understanding of GTM motions including sales processes, marketing funnels, customer lifecycle, and SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, LTV, etc).
    1. Exceptional organizational skills with ability to juggle multiple high-priority initiatives while maintaining attention to detail and meeting aggressive deadlines.
    1. Bonus points for MBA, management consulting background, or experience in high-growth companies that scaled from $100M to $500M+ ARR.
