Job Title: OCC Supervisor
Location: Bloomington, MN
Contract Type: 6-month contract with potential to convert to full-time
Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts (Days & Nights)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled OCC Supervisor to oversee operations in a newly established control center. This role begins with a structured training program at our training facility in Albert Lea, MN, followed by a rotating shift schedule in Bloomington, MN. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience in a 24/7 operational environment, strong technical knowledge of control systems, and excellent interpersonal skills. Candidates with prior military experience, especially in the Navy or Marines, are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise operational control center staff and ensure smooth 24/7 operations.

• Maintain compliance with operational standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.

• Manage real-time operations of systems and equipment, including SCADA and industrial communication systems.

• Coordinate shift activities, staffing, and performance monitoring.

• Ensure operational compliance with NERC, FERC, and other system operator requirements.

• Provide technical leadership, training, and mentoring to staff.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in 24/7 operational or power plant environments.

• Bachelor s degree in a technical field or equivalent business/military experience.

• Strong computer and networking skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency.

• Familiarity with SCADA systems and industrial communications equipment.

• Excellent communication, multitasking, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• NERC Balancing and Interchange certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months).

• NERC Renewables certification a plus.

• Prior Navy or Marine Corps experience, particularly with aircraft maintenance or boiler operations.
