Job Details

Job Title: Project Manager


Purpose

Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing small to mid-scale projects to ensure successful delivery of objectives on time and within budget. This role involves initiating, engaging, and motivating cross-functional teams to drive outcomes, identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring thorough documentation, and leading implementations, integrations, business readiness, and communications.


Essential Functions

  • 40% Project Planning & Execution
    Plans and allocates project resources, prepares and manages budgets, tracks schedules, monitors progress, and mitigates risks to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

  • 20% Project Management & Coordination
    Provides end-to-end project management support including reporting, deliverable tracking, and documentation. Serves as a liaison across departments and, when needed, with external stakeholders to ensure accurate communication and alignment.

  • 20% Strategic Evaluation & Improvement
    Assesses the impact of existing or proposed projects, processes, programs, and policies using critical and creative thinking. Recommends and drives improvements to enhance project outcomes.

  • 20% Leadership & Stakeholder Management
    Provides leadership and motivation to project teams in a matrixed environment. Fosters collaboration and manages relationships with key stakeholders including management, internal teams, and vendors. Leads the execution and successful delivery of projects.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Project Management, Business, or a related field

  • In lieu of a degree: 4 additional years of relevant experience

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a project management or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent judgment and decision-making ability

  • Expertise in project planning and life cycle development

  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

  • Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to manage challenging interactions professionally


Additional Requirements

The incumbent must promptly disclose any debarment, exclusion, or other status that makes them ineligible to work directly or indirectly on federal healthcare programs. Must be able to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results within set expectations and deadlines.
