Title: Deployment Specialist

Location: OH - Solon - NUSA

  • Make experience-based and data-driven decisions that aim to minimize service risk in scenarios with imperfect solutions.
  • Communicate regional inventory gaps to internal/external stakeholders and be accountable for service results.
  • Be a key advocate for a smooth flow of supply and drive transparency when supply is constrained.
  • Push end-to-end collaboration and continuous improvement in areas that affect supply, service, or waste.

Daily review of event exceptions that impact short-term inventory projections such as:

  1. late incubation release
  2. loads in the past
  3. in-transits in the past

  • Follow up with key cross-functional teams to resolve event exceptions and reduce future event exceptions.
  • Reconcile and confirm dispatch plans. Adjust dispatch plans where needed to account for redeployment decisions, possible spoilage, rebalancing inventory levels, production planning variance, or aging of stock.
  • Work closely with Factory and Transportation teams to ensure production deployment is completed timely and reduces the need for future re-deployment.
  • Ensure supply moves fit within short-term DC/Factory/Warehouse space and throughput capacity. React to current capacity constraints by prioritizing inventory moves, reducing truckloads, and pushing out supply moves all while solving for service.
  • Make decisions on inventory movement that maximizes supply payload. Build and optimize truckloads using system tools to improve payload while maintaining target service levels. Research examples where the payload is not met to identify root causes and drive improvement.
  • Identify the need to expedite inventory movement and facilitate processes with cross-functional partners.
  • Build Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) according to aligned cut-off times
  • Check Available To Promise (ATP) inventory and confirm inventory to STO Delivery Notes according to aligned cut-off times
  • Coordinate the deployment of semi-finished products (SFP) from Client distribution centers/contract warehouses to Client plants/co-manufacturers in support of plant master production schedules. (where applicable)
  • Execute on direction received from DRP on moves for potential salvage waste or specific moves to help solve for capacity.
