The ISG Data Solutions organization aims to support Citi on its journey to adopt a data driven culture by delivering innovative technology solutions and simplifying access to quality data and business intelligence.

Within the Data Program Transformation and Execution Office we are seeking a seasoned project manager to take on the role of Data Process Redesign Lead. This role will be responsible for ensuring there are robust and controlled end-to-end processes around the Data Book of Work and related Financials, determining opportunities to enhance processes, evaluate gaps, recommend and implement solutions.

The role requires a problem solver with excellent process re-engineering skills. Experience in project implementation and a good understanding of finance process, workflows, and best practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Validate existing, or develop where none exist, end to end processes around Data financial and BOW management, ensure processes are operating effectively, fully documented and understood by each technology organization involved in the Data BOW
  • Determine opportunities to simplify current processes working closely with the O&T Transformation organization and other internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement best practices that optimize workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the recommended design solutions and lead the efforts to implement these solutions.
  • Provide regular status reporting to senior management and other interested parties.
  • Partner with Finance, Technology, and Transformation Program Data teams to define and enforce governance policies.
  • Foster strong relationships with leadership and team members to drive buy-in and commitment to process improvement efforts

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience required
  • Proven experience in project management specifically related to process reengineering, preferably in a large, complex organizational setting.
  • Expertise in six sigma, agile and lean principles.
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to analyze data to drive informed decisions.
  • Experience in writing business rules to automate financial processes, workflows and/or reports.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to collaborate well across organizations.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field, or equivalent experience required
