RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in West Valley City, UT that is seeking a Senior IOS Engineer to join a high-performing mobile product team building innovative iOS applications. In this role, you'll thrive in an Agile environment where high-quality code, collaboration, and continuous improvement are key. You will help shape the technical direction of projects, solve complex problems, and contribute to building elegant, scalable mobile experiences.
Duties:
* Senior IOS Engineer will design, build, and maintain robust iOS applications using Swift, Swift UI, and Objective-C
* Own technical design and implementation for moderately complex projects
* Troubleshoot and debug across the stack, even when faced with ambiguity
* Break down large features into well-defined development tasks
* Uphold and contribute to team coding standards and best practices
* Collaborate with QA to assess risk and ensure quality releases
* As a Senior IOS Engineer, you will mentor other engineers through thoughtful code reviews and knowledge sharing
* Identify and proactively address technical debt
* Contribute to performance optimization, testing strategy, and documentation
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience in iOS development
* Experience working in Agile or Scrum-based development teams
* Strong expertise in Swift, Swift UI, and Objective-C
* Proven ability to deliver clean, maintainable, production-grade code
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Bonus Points For:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
* Experience with Apollo and GraphQL
* Polyglot mindset (e.g., familiarity with Android, backend, or cross-platform tools)
* Understanding of UI/UX principles and visual design standards
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
