DemoTech Solutions is a fast-moving engineering organization building cloud-native platforms used by internal teams. This demo role models the kind of senior infrastructure engineer who owns the reliability, scalability, and security of distributed systems.

What you’ll do (Responsibilities)

  • Design, deploy, and operate cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) supporting microservices at scale.

  • Architect and maintain IaC using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.

  • Build CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI) and automate release processes.

  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize cost, performance, and security.

  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to capacity planning and runbook creation.

Required qualifications

  • 5+ years in cloud infrastructure or SRE/DevOps roles.

  • Hands-on AWS experience: EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3.

  • Strong Terraform (or CloudFormation) experience—production-grade modules.

  • Solid Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals.

  • Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS).

  • Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) and logging (ELK/CloudWatch).

Nice to have

  • Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer.

  • Experience with service mesh (Istio/Linkerd), chaos engineering, or large-scale migrations.

  • Python, Go, or shell scripting for automation.
