Duration: 10+ months - Possible Extension
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid )
Pay Range: $20-$26/hr on W2 (As per experience)
Job Description:
- The role will support Shopping merchants and partners who integrate / use a variety of Shopping features, such as Vehicle Ads, Merchant Promotions, and more. You will work with internal teams within operations, product management, business development, engineering, sales, and more. You will also directly support third-party partners and Merchants who are trying to integrate or utilize Shopping features.
- This role will report to both a gTech Shopping Merchant Growth & Quality solutions consultant and an Omnichannel Vehicle Ads product technology manager. The role will be responsible for fielding internal inquiries from support teams and sales teams, including technical and operations consults regarding vehicle ads merchants in the JP market, and other features such as Merchant promotions.
The role will provide internal support, including, but not limited to:
- Initial triage of bug reports
- Data quality status responses
- Store feed allowlisting (config)
- Vehicle ads trusted partner allowlisting (config)
- Technical account management for vehicle ads agency accounts (MCA), merchant subaccounts and individual merchant account support.
- Support partners in integrating their data and platforms (e.g. feed support)
- Ad hoc reporting requests/SQL queries
- Other tasks as deemed necessary by the lead Vehicle ads PTM
- Partner and Advertiser support including:
- Understand how Vehicle Ads advertiser data is structured and consult with them on the best way to integrate.
- Provide high touch technical support. Troubleshoot, escalate and respond to product support requests from partnership teams.
- Leverage internal tools, logs and data to identify/troubleshoot issues.
- Learn and build expertise on new processes, operational tools and tracking applications.
Support launch readiness: Understand PM/ENG launch requirements and help develop support model, support artifacts (help center article), training docs

- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Languages: Must be fluent in both Japanese and English
Skills / Background:
- Customer Service

- Familiarity with Workspace: gMail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Meet
- Familiarity with eCommerce, Shopping, Merchant Center, and Ads strongly preferred but not required
