Description

We are looking for a skilled Help Desk Analyst to deliver exceptional technical support to our clients within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. In this role, you will diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, assist with application installations, and guide users through troubleshooting processes. This is a contract-to-permanent position located in Lexington, Kentucky.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, and network configurations.

Provide step-by-step guidance to clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of technical solutions.

Escalate unresolved problems to specialized teams when necessary, maintaining proper documentation throughout the process.

Manage multiple open tickets simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet agreed resolution timelines.

Utilize internal and external resources to research and implement accurate solutions.

Follow up with clients to confirm successful resolution and ensure their systems are functioning optimally.

Maintain detailed records of all technical issues and solutions within the help desk system.

Develop and update technical documentation, including manuals and troubleshooting guides.

Prepare reports summarizing support activities and outcomes.

Participate in occasional after-hours support and travel as needed to meet client requirements.

Requirements

Proven experience in a technical support, IT help desk, or desktop support role.
Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Mac OS environments.
Familiarity with remote desktop tools and help desk software.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly.
Industry certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, or Linux are highly desirable.
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
Must pass criminal background checks and drug screenings.
