Job Details

Job title: Hardware Board Designer or Test (PCB) Engineer
Duration: Long Term
Location: San Jose CA (Onsite)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop complex PCB-level hardware involving high-speed digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuits.

  • Own the schematic capture, component selection, and review of layout for signal integrity and manufacturability.

  • Work hands-on in the lab to validate, debug, and bring up PCBs, using tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.

  • Conduct and support signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) simulations and validation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware, layout, mechanical, and test engineering.

  • Execute hardware test plans and document test procedures, logs, and results.

  • Investigate hardware issues and work on root-cause analysis and corrective actions.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in board-level hardware design, validation, and debugging.

  • Strong understanding of electronics fundamentals including digital and analog circuits.

  • Proficiency in lab tools such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, logic analyzers, and soldering tools.

  • Familiarity with SI/PI analysis tools or simulation workflows is a plus.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and datasheets.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on debugging mindset.
