Title: IT Infrastructure Project Manager III
Location: Philadelphia, PA (hybrid)
Type: Contract, temp

Our client is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager with knowledge of IT infrastructure / new facilities and IT operations projects. The role manages large projects of moderate to high complexity, which may include the creation, coordination, and management of a project plan for major complex system installation or modification. This role will be mostly remote, but local candidates are preferred as there will be some onsite, occasional presence required.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Creates, coordinates, and manages advanced level multimillion-dollar projects, including infrastructure, new facilities and IT operations projects.
  • Exhibits advanced proficiency in project management methodology, tools and practices.
  • Manages 8 to 15 project team members.
  • Takes on leadership opportunities within the PMO.
  • Acts as a mentor to new PM s and/or PM I s or II s.
  • Is a champion for PMO project management methodology.
  • A Project Manager III may be involved in some leadership activities.
  • Manages large projects of moderate to high complexity which may include the creation, coordination and management of a project plan for major complex system installation or modification.


Required Skills:

  • Eight (8) years of experience as an IT Project Manager with increasing responsibilities.
  • Bachelor s degree is preferred, Master's degree is preferred.
  • Active PMP certification (PMI) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure/new facilities and IT operations projects is required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written communication, with project staff, sponsors, and stakeholders.
  • Effective consensus-building skills.
  • Ability to manage advanced-level projects.
  • Ability to coach other team members.
  • Ability to present project status or PMO-specific initiatives to IS and leadership.
  • Ability to be a trusted business partner to project sponsors and stakeholders.
