Position Title: Sr. Full Stack Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA (hybrid)

Job Description:

• Your primary role is to design, develop, document, test and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications for internal use
• Design and develop java and cloud-native applications, features and enhancements with an emphasis on clean, highly efficient, supportable, and well documented code for the full technological stack
• Contribute to agile development teams following 12 Factor application development principles
• Participate in design meetings and consult with business clients to prioritize key business/technical initiatives and refine, test, and debug programs to meet business needs
• Understands user and process requirements and ensures those requirements can be achieved through high-quality deliverables.
• Bachelors degree in related field OR 7 or more years of Java/J2EE development, hands-on troubleshooting and deployment experience.

• Knowledge of Java/J2EE development, full stack Cloud-native development, RESTful APIs and microservices with Springboot
• Knowledge and experience with Oracle databases
• Knowledge and/or experience with Apache Kafka, Apache Spark and Apache NiFi.
• Knowledge and experience with DevOps: Git, Jenkins and/or Ansible
• Solid data modeling skills both for SQL and NoSQL
• Ability to lead and mentor associate developers (employee and contractors)
• Ability to clearly communicate with peers, business analysts, and subject matter experts
• Must have the ability to listen to customers and colleagues; convey ideas effectively; prepare written documentation PREF QUAL
• Proactive in nature with customer satisfaction as a primary goal
• Knowledge and experience with the Travel Industry a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with Test Driven Development with a testing framework. Knowledge of Cucumber and Selenium is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with Apache Cassandra. DataStax Enterprise is a plus. Experience deploying applications in AWS or Azure a plus.
