About the Role:
The Wankawala Organization is seeking an experienced Chief Controller/CFO to lead the company s financial operations, ensure fiscal integrity, and provide strategic guidance to support continued growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, proven leadership in financial management, and experience overseeing end-to-end financial processes for a mid-sized organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting functions.

  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

  • Manage cash flow, forecasting, and financial planning.

  • Lead audits, tax filings, and compliance with federal and state regulations.

  • Partner with executive leadership to drive strategic decision-making.

  • Supervise accounting staff and coordinate with external auditors.

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • CPA (mandatory).

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including leadership roles.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Work Arrangement:

  • Onsite, 5 days per week at the Cherry Hill, NJ office.
