Remote - Eastern Time Zone Preferred This role is fully remote, with preference for candidates who can work Eastern Standard Time hours.

Contract Position This is a contract position running until the end of 2025.

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Windows Engineer to lead a critical Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) implementation project. This role will be responsible for managing the complexity of deploying SSO and MFA solutions across approximately 170 applications, requiring deep technical expertise and the ability to navigate multiple environments and third-party integrations.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the organization's security posture while improving user experience through streamlined authentication processes. You'll collaborate closely with security teams, application development groups, and various stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing support. Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of SSO and MFA solutions across approximately 170 applications • Configure and manage Active Directory, Azure AD, and Entra ID environments • Implement and maintain AD Domain services including Domain Controllers and DNS • Design and deploy Active Directory Federated Services and Azure AD connect solutions • Develop SAML/OIDC integration strategies for various applications • Configure Microsoft's MFA authentication systems for enterprise environments • Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance and best practices • Work with application development teams to integrate SSO solutions • Provide technical expertise on identity security platforms and protection solutions • Troubleshoot and resolve complex authentication and authorization issues • Deliver ticket support and technical documentation for implemented solutions • Communicate project progress and technical recommendations to stakeholders

Required Experience/Skills

• Extensive experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, and Entra ID administration • Strong knowledge of AD Domain services including Domain Controllers and DNS • Proven experience with Active Directory Federated Services and Azure AD connect • Subject matter expertise in SAML/OIDC protocols and implementation • Advanced knowledge of SSO and MFA implementation using Microsoft's authentication stack • Experience managing complex, multi-environment enterprise projects • Strong understanding of identity and access management principles • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction • Ability to work independently in a remote environment • Experience with enterprise-level security implementations • Problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Silverfort's Identity Security Platform • Knowledge of CrowdStrike Falcon Identity Protection • Background in enterprise security consulting or managed services • Experience working with healthcare or dental industry clients • Familiarity with compliance requirements and security frameworks • Previous experience in similar contract or consulting roles
