Job Title: Business Analyst_1
Location: 15 Metrotech Center, Brooklyn, NY 11201
Duration: 36 Months

About the Project:
Our client is committed to maintaining and refining critical business applications that support client eligibility, employment services, claims, and more. We are expanding our IT consulting resources to ensure our portfolio addresses both business needs and system performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and conduct testing of business applications.

  • Develop test cases, acceptance criteria, and perform QA testing.

  • Coordinate testing and acceptance between QA staff, developers, and stakeholders.

  • Maintain requirements traceability with RTM Matrix linked to user stories.

  • Elicit and document both business and technical requirements.

  • Break down user stories into actionable development tasks/functions.

  • Review requirements with stakeholders, incorporating their feedback and seeking approvals.

  • Analyze existing systems and recommend process or system improvements.

  • Prepare reports for management and support information dissemination.

  • Directly collaborate with business users, designers, developers, and engineers to ensure timely, successful feature delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience using Business Analysis tools such as JIRA, Balsamiq and MS Visio.

  • Minimum 8 years of experience documenting business and functional requirements and coordinating with technical teams.

  • Minimum 8 years of experience overseeing project deliverables.

  • Minimum 8 years of experience designing data models and developing application prototypes.

Important Notes:

  • Candidates must currently reside in the NYC metro area (or within reasonable commuting distance)
