Job Title: DBA Lead

DB2 LUW DBA
- Good experience in 24*7 production environment support
- db2 installations and fix pack upgrades, instance and database creation
- DB2 11.5 Version Migration and upgrades from prior versions
- HADR server build and TSA installation, failovers and rolling upgrades.
- Hands on DB2 DPF Environment (BACKUP/RESTORE)
- Create and schedule jobs, such as Backups, Runstats, Reorgs and Table space monitoring etc.
- Extensive exposure to DB2 Tools (db2look, db2pd, db2move, Load, Export, and Import)
- Enabling the archive logging and configured database backups to Disk.
- Troubleshooting Databases issues using db2diag, db2dart, db2support, snapshots
- Granting / revoking various authorizations to different Users/Groups
- Analyzing SQL Queries by using db2advis and creating indexes based on requirement.
- IBM CDC replication tool (Change data capture)
- Having good knowledge on Shell scripting
- Experience in Problem & change management process
- Good in Communication and interpersonal skills
- Encryption configuration setup for DB2 filesystems
- Add on Skills: Sybase and PostgreSQL database administration, Oracle DB upgrade experience will be an added advantage.
The pay range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
