JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Discovery & Integration Specialist to lead the deployment and optimization of ServiceNow Discovery and Service Graph Connectors within our enterprise environment. This role is pivotal in supporting the migration of Data Sources in our CMDB for End-User Devices, ensuring seamless integration with our Hardware and Software Asset Management (HAM/SAM) models, and maintaining the integrity of our Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This role will report to Director of the ServiceNow IT Asset Management and Configuration Management (CMDB) team. As a ServiceNow Discovery & Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for requirement development and analysis as well as integration design and testing. This role will also include data migration and conversion activities. The role will work directly with the ServiceNow CMDB Discovery team, the ServiceNow Platform team and the End-User Device Management organization. This is a temporary role

Key Responsibilities
- API Integration Development: Design, develop, and implement robust integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange between ServiceNow and external systems.
- Service Graph Connector Deployment: Lead the implementation of Service Graph Connectors to ingest third-party data into the CMDB, maintaining data quality and consistency.
- Hardware Asset Management: Collaborate with asset management teams to align integration processes with HAM practices, enhancing asset lifecycle tracking and compliance.
- HAM/SAM Model Management: Collaborate with asset management teams to align Discovery data with HAM/SAM processes, enhancing asset lifecycle management.
- Data Mapping & Transformation: Utilize IntegrationHub ETL and other tools to map, transform, and normalize data from various sources into ServiceNow's data models.
- Data Mapping & Reconciliation: Design and implement data transformation and reconciliation strategies using ServiceNow's Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE).
- Custom Development: Develop custom scripts, workflows, and automation to support unique integration requirements and business processes.
- ServiceNow Discovery Deployment: Support the design, implementation, and management of ServiceNow Discovery processes, including MID Server configurations, schedules, and credentials.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure Discovery and integration processes support broader IT operations.
- Documentation & Training: Create comprehensive documentation for integration processes and provide training to internal teams on best practices and troubleshooting techniques.

Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB integration within large-scale enterprise environments.
- Education: Bachelors degree in information technology, computer science or related field
- Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in ServiceNow Discovery, Service Graph Connectors, MID Server architecture, and CMDB data models.
- Asset Management: Proven experience integrating Discovery data with HAM/SAM processes.
- Scripting Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, PowerShell, or Python for custom development and automation.
- Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Discovery; additional certifications in CMDB or ITOM are advantageous.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Technologies: Experience with ServiceNow integrations with MS Intune, SCCM, JAMF and BigFix technologies to for supporting Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management and Configuration Management process a plus
- ServiceNow Discovery: Experience with ServiceNow ACC-V a plus
- Security Compliance: Understanding of security frameworks and compliance requirements related to network device management.
- HAM Expertise: In-depth knowledge of hardware asset lifecycle management, model normalization, and compliance requirements.
- Project Management: Experience leading cross-functional projects and initiatives involving multiple stakeholders. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to assess customer/client needs, creatively approach solutions, decide, and influence appropriate courses of action.
