Job Overview
The BIM Specialist will play a key role in supporting design and construction technology across the organization. This position focuses on providing technical expertise, production support, training, and process improvements to ensure efficiency and quality in BIM workflows. The role is part of a specialized team that supports engineering, field operations, and other BIM users, helping to establish standards, optimize tools, and drive innovation in construction technology.

Job Overview
The BIM Specialist will play a key role in supporting design and construction technology across the organization. This position focuses on providing technical expertise, production support, training, and process improvements to ensure efficiency and quality in BIM workflows. The role is part of a specialized team that supports engineering, field operations, and other BIM users, helping to establish standards, optimize tools, and drive innovation in construction technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Revit, Navisworks, and other Autodesk Suite applications.
- Deliver training and guidance to BIM users and consumers across disciplines.
- Create and manage Revit families, type catalogs, and other content to ensure consistency and performance.
- Support large model management practices to maintain efficiency and prevent performance issues.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and adoption of BIM standards, workflows, and best practices.
- Research and implement new tools, add-ins, scripts, and automations to improve workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate BIM data with other applications and platforms.
- Provide feedback on technology improvements and contribute to continuous process development.
- Participate in modeling and detailing tasks when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team's mission.
- 7+ years of experience with Revit and multi-discipline coordination.
- Strong knowledge of Revit family creation and modification.
- Proficiency with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and/or BIM 360.
- Experience managing large BIM models and optimizing performance.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam Studio or similar PDF markup tools.
- Solid understanding of building design and construction practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of tasks.
- Construction industry background preferred; architectural-only backgrounds are less aligned.
- Associate's degree in a technology-related field preferred (equivalent experience accepted).
- Location: Remote
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7 AM-5 PM
- Travel: 5-15%.
