IT Business Analyst

IT Business Analyst Responsibilities:



  • Evaluate internal systems and applications for functionality, performance, and process alignment

  • Lead requirement-gathering sessions with stakeholders across the business

  • Build current and future-state process maps, use cases, and functional specs

  • Spot inefficiencies and design smarter workflows

  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure business needs are met in every solution

  • Create documentation, SOPs, and training tools to support system adoption

  • Guide and support UAT activities and assist with change management


IT Business Analyst Requirements:



  • Bachelor's in Information Systems, Business, or related field

  • 3+ years of BA experience, ideally in a systems-heavy or IT environment

  • Skilled in business process modeling and system analysis

  • Fluent in tools like Visio, Lucidchart, and Confluence

  • Strong communicator who can translate technical lingo into plain English

  • Bonus points for Lean or Six Sigma experience
