Artemis Analysis and Integration Engineer (sensors), Associate or Experienced Level

The Artemis program is seeking an Associate or Experienced Electrical/Aerospace Engineer to support design, analysis, integration and test of our Sensor and Telemetry System. Candidate will work closely with a small team of subject matter experts to drive the successful delivery of both our core stage and upper stage capability. Candidate will be based in Huntsville, Alabama, and will spend time in our gateway office facilities and in our shared test facility with NASA at the Marshall Space Flight Center. Travel up to 20% of the time may be required to support test and launch operations at Michoud Assembly Facility, Louisiana, Stennis, Mississippi, and Kennedy Space Center, Florida.
Position Responsibilities:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes , lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Position Responsibilities:
- Primary Owner of sensor list configuration and telemetry format definitions
- Support telemetry format development/integration/database translation
- Support program design cycle reviews supporting data definitions, component tests, and data analysis
- Author model confidence and validation documents necessary to support NASA customer needs as well as Boeing formal verification objectives.
- Work with internal teammates to integrate the subsystem model into larger analytical efforts at the stage level.
- Coordinate with both the NASA Customer and various component suppliers to properly mature and maintain model.
- Support internal test and verifications teams to ensure tests are configured and conducted appropriately to collect sufficient model validation data. Testing can include supporting data processing and analysis of avionics hardware performance at production/lab/launch site.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
- Associate, Level 2: Typically, 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications
- Experienced, Level 3: Typically, 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications
- Familiarity with control performance metrics (open and closed loop stability, peak overshoot, settling time, stall load, etc.)
- Familiarity with rocket control systems and environments (RCS, TVC, GNC, cryo Conditions, shock and vibe, vacuum, etc.)
- Background in physics based engineering (i.e. motor torque, friction calculations and effects, mass properties, gearing ratios, etc.)
- Moderate understanding of MATLAB and Simulink
- Basic understanding of electronics, circuit design, and power quality.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's or Master's in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with Data Acquisition setups and basic digital signal processing MIL-STD-1553B and RS-422 communication standards
- Familiar with Python
- Familiar with GIT
- Familiar with System Engineering standard practices and processes
- Familiar with Electrical and/or fluid driven actuation systems
- Basic understanding in structural dynamics
- Experience working with space programs, NASA programs preferred.
- Capable of working in a multi-tasking environment while supporting multiple activities concurrently
