Software Architect

JOB SUMMARY
Primary Purpose of Position

The Software Architect will design and implement scalable, resilient, and high-performance software solutions. You will collaborate with the Business Architecture Analyst to translate conceptual designs into detailed architecture diagrams, then partner with cross-functional teams to ensure applications meet rigorous standards for quality, security, and performance. Your expertise in modern design patterns, cloud-native architectures, and Microsoft Azure will play a critical role in guiding projects to successful delivery.
Essential Functions
Promote and implement frameworks, methods, and techniques that foster agility.
Ensure alignment with the values and twelve principles of the Agile Manifesto.
Coach employees, teams, and stakeholders on modern product development practices.
Serve as facilitator, trainer, coach, and mentor spanning team to enterprise levels.
Adapt to multiple leadership roles as needed (Scrum Master, Team Coach, Enterprise Coach).
Measure progress and improvement using learning milestones.
Support personal mastery, mental models, shared vision, team learning, and systems thinking.
Demonstrate and reinforce the five Scrum values: focus, courage, openness, commitment, and respect.
Job Qualifications
Proven experience as a Software Architect or in a comparable technical leadership role, with a strong background in software development.
4+ years of hands-on experience in software architecture.
10+ years in software design, engineering, and architectural implementation.
Proficiency with .NET and Angular frameworks.
Strong understanding of networking principles within cloud environments.
Practical experience applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Event-Driven Architecture.
Expertise in modern design patterns, including SOLID principles and DDD.
Extensive experience designing cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
Experience with microservices architectures.
Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong knowledge of integration technologies, middleware, and communication protocols.
Familiarity with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and messaging systems.
Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with business leaders and stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to think critically and innovatively.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
U.S. citizenship required.
HIGHLY Prefered:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related
field
