Job Description: Project Scope:
Roles/Responsibilities:
Configure and develop within the Enterprise Permitting & Licensing (EnerGov) system, specifically:
Develop workflows and business process actions, including:
Perform programming and systems analysis
Develop and troubleshoot:
Mandatory Skills:
Desirable Skills:
- Support various initiatives for RER's Enterprise & Permitting Licensing (formerly EnerGov) implementation.
- Streamline functions
- Optimize service delivery
- Reduce administrative inefficiencies
- Strengthen plans review and enforcement measures
- Focus areas include improving processes for code compliance, planning, platting, and zoning to leverage new system functionality and accommodate departmental changes.
Roles/Responsibilities:
Configure and develop within the Enterprise Permitting & Licensing (EnerGov) system, specifically:
- Land Management
- Case Management
- Licensing
- Enforcement
- Civic Access Portal
Develop workflows and business process actions, including:
- Output actions
- Automatic Logic (IO)
- Fee configuration
Perform programming and systems analysis
Develop and troubleshoot:
- SQL views
- Functions and stored procedures
- Database triggers
- Data transformations
- Create reports using SSRS and Power BI
- Translate business analysis into system workflows and configurations
- Provide technical training and mentorship to in-house development teams
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including county staff and third-party vendors
- Collaborate with county analysts to align solution design with business needs
Mandatory Skills:
- Direct experience with EnerGov / Enterprise Permitting & Licensing
- Workflow configuration and business logic design
- Proficiency in SQL (views, stored procedures, functions)
- Experience with database triggers and data transformation
- Report development using SSRS and Power BI
- Strong business analysis and process mapping skills
- Technical training and team mentorship experience
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Experience working with government entities or managing large-scale vendor implementations
Desirable Skills:
- Prior work in government agencies or organizations managing large-scale data migrations and system integrations preferred.
