Job Title: Sr. Snowflake Developer Risk Technology
Location: Jersey City, NJ or NYC, NY (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 8+ Month Contract
Key Skills & Responsibilities:
- Snowflake development: schema design, micro-partitioning, clustering, SQL optimization
- Snowpark, stored procedures, and performance/cost tuning
- Python-based ETL/ELT for market data ingestion
- Data quality validation, gap-filling, and anomaly detection
- Experience with market risk data and risk metrics (VaR/SVaR)
Requirements:
- 7+ years in data engineering / database development
- Strong Snowflake, SQL, and Python expertise
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
