Job Details

We are looking for a self-motivated IT Shopfloor / Field Support Engineer to provide onsite IT support at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Warsaw, Indiana. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on shopfloor support experience, be well-versed in ITIL processes, and capable of owning incident resolution end-to-end in a regulated GxP environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary IT Point of Contact (POC) for onsite manufacturing support

  • Participate in Rapid Response Team triage and attend Daily Performance Meetings

  • Handle P1/P2 incidents, reliability calls, and escalations through resolution

  • Provide shopfloor field support for printers, scanners, weighing scales, and peripherals

  • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, including wireless and patching

  • Replace and troubleshoot MOXA devices and related network components

  • Assist infrastructure teams (Network, EUC, Hardware) with daily troubleshooting and projects

  • Coordinate with application owners to install and validate client applications

  • Support OS builds, workstation imaging, and antivirmalware setup issues

  • Coordinate with equipment vendors for repair and maintenance

  • Perform initial application troubleshooting and manage escalation until closure

  • Support IQ/OQ testing, technical change control, and base business activities

  • Serve as SPOC for BU IT local support and external vendors


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in Site IT / Field Support / Shopfloor IT

  • Strong experience in pharma or regulated manufacturing environments (GxP)

  • Hands-on experience with shopfloor peripherals and manufacturing hardware

  • Strong knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Asset Management)

  • Good understanding of network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, wireless)

  • Experience supporting Windows OS, workstations, and multiple operating systems

  • Ability to work independently and provide after-hours support when required

  • Excellent coordination, communication, and multitasking skills


Nice to Have

  • Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)

  • Prior experience supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing plants

  • Familiarity with validation documentation and compliance processes
