Job Details

Role: Project Manager / Business Analyst (Key Personnel)

Location & Remote Work Details: (Hybrid) Primarily Remote but must be available for non-reimbursed travel to client sites in Brooklyn, NY for key meetings as required.

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

  • Key Duties:
    • Lead the development of the master Project Work Plan, including schedules, WBS, RACI matrix, and risk registers.
    • Serve as the primary liaison and single point of contact between client stakeholders and the technical team.
    • Conduct comprehensive business process analysis of existing legacy systems to elicit, document, and validate all functional and non-functional requirements.
    • Author and secure client sign-off on key project deliverables (e.g., Functional Requirements Validation Document).
    • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and quality, providing weekly and monthly status reports to client leadership.
  • Minimum Requirements:
    • Experience: A minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in IT project management.
    • Certification: Active PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is mandatory.
    • Tooling: High proficiency in MS Project, MS Visio, and MS PowerPoint.
    • Preferred: Experience managing IT modernization projects for public sector/education clients using a strict Waterfall SDLC.
