Role: Project Manager / Business Analyst (Key Personnel)
Location & Remote Work Details: (Hybrid) Primarily Remote but must be available for non-reimbursed travel to client sites in Brooklyn, NY for key meetings as required.
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
- Key Duties:
- Lead the development of the master Project Work Plan, including schedules, WBS, RACI matrix, and risk registers.
- Serve as the primary liaison and single point of contact between client stakeholders and the technical team.
- Conduct comprehensive business process analysis of existing legacy systems to elicit, document, and validate all functional and non-functional requirements.
- Author and secure client sign-off on key project deliverables (e.g., Functional Requirements Validation Document).
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and quality, providing weekly and monthly status reports to client leadership.
- Minimum Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in IT project management.
- Certification: Active PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is mandatory.
- Tooling: High proficiency in MS Project, MS Visio, and MS PowerPoint.
- Preferred: Experience managing IT modernization projects for public sector/education clients using a strict Waterfall SDLC.
