Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill a Principal Lead Engineer Consultant role for one of leading Software partners. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high performing, reliable and scalable data warehousing and ETL solutions. You will analyze complex problems, build insightful solutions and develop close working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to deliver digital and commercial solutions.
Job responsibilities:
Implement data integration and transformation solutions using AWS-native services such as AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, and related technologies
Leverage cloud-based and hybrid data architectures including Redshift, S3, and data lake environments to enable scalable analytics solutions
Perform advanced data analysis to support and enhance enterprise Information Management systems
Work independently or as part of a team to design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AWS data integration pipelines
Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
15+ years of hands-on experience building and managing ETL/ELT pipelines, ideally using AWS Glue, Lambda, or similar AWS integration tools
Strong experience with relational and cloud databases such as Redshift, SQL Server, or Oracle
Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik for visualization and reporting
Experience with Big Data frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) preferred
Nice to have: Experience working with Snowflake for data warehousing and integration within AWS environments
