Job Details
HTG is seeking a skilled Help Desk support team member to work with a great enterprise team in the greater Columbia, SC area. ! The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving IT issues for end-users.
Duties:
- Respond to incoming help desk requests via phone, email, or tickets.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to operating systems.
- Monitor network and system logs, alerting critical incident teams of any potential outages.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Maintain a high level of customer service while communicating technical information clearly.
- Manage ServiceNow ticket workflows and track updates for technical resolution.
- Document all interactions and resolutions in the help desk ticketing system.
Experience
- Bachelor or Associate degree in IT.
- Experience working in IT help desk or call center environments.
- Experience using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
