Job Details

Role: Technical Business Analyst

Location: Austin, TX

Medicaid is not required but a big plus

Translate requirements: Convert business needs into technical specifications that developers can use to build or modify systems.
Analyze IT capabilities: Assess an organization's current IT infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.

Propose technical solutions: Suggest new technologies or system changes, like implementing VoIP for better communication or a cloud-based system for scalability.
Facilitate communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear understanding of both business goals and technical constraints.
Document technical solutions: Create and maintain detailed documentation for technical solutions, such as system architectures and data models.
Assist with implementation: Provide support during the setup and integration of new systems to ensure successful adoption.

Essential Technical Skills
API knowledge: Understanding Application Programming Interfaces is crucial for integrating different software systems.
Cloud computing: Familiarity with cloud platforms and their benefits is essential for cloud-based projects.
Data skills: Includes data mapping, data modeling, and proficiency in SQL for data analysis.

A Technical BA possesses a deeper technical knowledge than a traditional Business Analyst.
