Key Responsibilities:

  1. Requirement Analysis & Solution Design:

o Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their business processes, challenges, and requirements.

o Develop functional specifications, process designs, and solution architectures for D365 CE.

o Collaborates with stakeholders throughout the organisation to ensure a comprehensive set of requirements, aligned to business objectives, gaining full understanding of current business processes

o Provides in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics CE application and evaluates the customer s business processes against the standard Microsoft Dynamics CE functionality

o I s responsible for documenting the business requirements which express what actions a solution must take and what outcome is expected.

  1. System Configuration & Customisation:

o Configure D365 CE modules, including Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and Field Service, to meet business needs.

o Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement customisations or integrations.

o Facilitates the customer s decision-making process and develops the functional design document that will drive the development process (if modifications/customisations are required, either to processes or to the Microsoft Dynamics CE application.)

  1. Implementation & Deployment:

o Lead D365 CE implementations, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.

o Support data migration efforts, mapping legacy data to D365 CE structures.

  1. Testing & Quality Assurance:

o Develop test plans and scripts for functional testing of D365 CE solutions.

o Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure feedback is incorporated.

  1. Training & Documentation:

o Prepare training materials and deliver training sessions to end-users.

o Create comprehensive documentation, including user guides and functional design documents.

  1. Continuous Improvement:

o Identify opportunities to enhance D365 CE functionalities to improve client operations.

o Stay updated on new D365 CE features and recommend their adoption.

  1. Collaboration & Support:

o Work closely with technical teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

o Provide post-go-live support to resolve issues and ensure optimal system performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in information systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 5 Years experience in a Microsoft partner in a consultancy role OR equivalent experience in an insurance vertical market
  • Proven experience as a D365 CE Functional Consultant or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of D365 CE modules (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and/or Field Service).
  • Hands-on experience in configuring and customising D365 CE.
  • Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of D365 CE functionality, workflows, and business rules.
  • Knowledge of integration methods, including APIs and middleware tools.
  • Familiarity with Azure services and Dataverse is desirable.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Functional Consultant Associate.
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Agile or Scrum Certification (optional).
