Description
We are looking for an experienced Network Administrator to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a long-term contract position, offering the opportunity to work on diverse technologies and systems while ensuring the seamless operation and security of network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing and maintaining networks, including advanced configurations and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Cisco routers and related technologies to ensure optimal network performance.
Configure and oversee Palo Alto firewalls to enhance network security.
Implement and monitor backup technologies to secure data and ensure disaster recovery readiness.
Administer Active Directory environments, including user and group management.
Conduct configuration management to ensure consistency across network systems and devices.
Design and implement network solutions that align with organizational needs.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues across computer systems.
Collaborate with teams to integrate EO/IR systems into the network infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with established protocols and standards for network operations.
Provide technical support during company acquisitions to facilitate seamless network transitions.
Requirements
Proven experience with Cisco routers and related networking technologies.
Hands-on expertise with Palo Alto Networks and firewall technologies.
Familiarity with Microsoft systems, including Active Directory.
Knowledge of backup technologies and disaster recovery processes.
Strong understanding of computer hardware and configuration management.
Ability to design and implement network solutions effectively.
Experience with EO/IR systems integration is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
