Project Manager with Devops

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager with a strong background in DevOps practices to lead and manage technology-driven projects. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of project management expertise and technical acumen, enabling them to effectively bridge the gap between development and operations teams. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, optimizing processes, and fostering a collaborative environment that promotes continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Project Planning and Execution:Develop, manage, and execute project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time.DevOps Integration:Implement and promote DevOps practices, including Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD), and infrastructure as code.Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline processes, enhance automation, and improve overall efficiency.Stakeholder Communication:Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.Facilitate meetings and discussions to ensure alignment between teams and address any concerns promptly.Risk Management:Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.Monitor project progress and make data-driven decisions to keep projects on track.Continuous Improvement:Analyze project outcomes and gather feedback to identify areas for improvement.Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team by promoting best practices and lessons learned.Team Leadership:Mentor and guide project team members, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment.Encourage professional development and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on technology-driven projects.Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD, automation, and cloud services.Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and leading projects from initiation to completion.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results.Preferred Skills:Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certification (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe) is a plus.Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack) to enhance project visibility and performance.
