Job Title: Industrial Engineer
Industrial Engineer
Overall Job Purpose:
Find ways to prevent waste and inefficiency in production processes. The position designs efficient systems that integrate workers, information machines, energy, and materials. The Industrial Engineer will also design equipment to coordinate production planning to minimize production issues and costs while ensuring product meets quality standards. Design, develop, and maintain manufacturing flows to maximize effectiveness, efficiency, and space. This position will ensure compliance with all industrial standards for safety, while meeting design standards and guidelines. Will also play a supporting role on projects.

Overall Job Purpose:

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review production information to understand methods and activities in manufacturing and services. Includes, but not limited to, schedules, process flows, and engineering specifications.
- Design control systems to minimize and resolve production issues and project costs
- Create systems and plan production to ensure all products meet quality control standards
- Develop standards for production and design by working with clients and management
- Knowledge of production processes, costs, quality control, raw materials, and other methods of maximizing the efficient manufacture and shipment of product
- Advanced knowledge of machines, tools, their design, uses, repair, and maintenance
- Ability to design and understand precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models
- Knowledge of how various systems interact and how changes in operations, the environment and other conditions will effect outcomes
- 5+ years in precision heavy manufacturing environment
- BS in Industrial Engineering
