Job Details
This position requires onsite, 5 days a week, Monday – Friday in Downtown, NYC.
This Role will be 100% on site with potential to hire.
If hired, it will be 2 days at home and 3 days in office. Interviews will be Virtual and only PREA required.

- Must have year of experience gathering and documenting business, clinical, and/or functional requirements for software applications development and implementation in a clinical, allied health, non-allied health, behavioral health, information technology, information services, business, analytics
- Data Analysis and SQL skills
- Liaison between Clinical Business and IT (information technology)
- Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, including its structure, regulations (e.g., HIPAA), compliance standards, and industry trends.
- Healthcare Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with various healthcare IT systems, particularly Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, and the ability to leverage these systems for data analysis and process improvement.
- Clinical Terminology & Concepts: Understanding and familiarity with clinical terminology, workflows, and patient care practices. This is crucial for effectively collaborating with healthcare professionals and translating their needs into technical solutions.
- Analyze and document business requirements and processes; communicate requirements to technical personnel through the construction of basic conceptual data, process models and flowcharts, and technical specifications.
- Interview end users, stakeholders, and project sponsors in order to assess business and clinical needs; create business, functional, and technical requirements documents based on captured data and in accordance with departmental protocol/standards.
- Convert information gathered into details including data sources, data, and user types, interface components, interface navigation needs, reporting needs, and administrative system needs.
- Define external interfaces, constraints, quality issues, and other non-functional requirements.
- Provide the project management team with identified risks, concerns, and ambiguities discovered during the gathering of requirements; assist the team in developing solutions.
- Partner with project managers to complete requirements documentation in accordance with the project schedule
