All about the role:

As software is playing an increasingly significant role in enabling digital consumer experiences, we are gearing up to become more agile, faster in responding to market demands and quicker in identifying new market opportunities. This involves elevating our appliances to digital, software-defined products in a seamless integration of modular electronics, software, and connectivity platform.

We're looking for an Electronics Hardware Developer to join us on our journey.

What you'll do:

You will work in cross-functional teams to manage the full hardware lifecycle in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), for the design of system-on-module and high-performance board for a new global platform

In detail, you will:



\u00B7 Contribute to overall hardware architecture creation, design, and development; Own major functionality in the Electronic Platforms Tech Stack: definition, implementation, integration, and maintenance.

\u00B7 Coordinate external resources and monitor performance to perform hardware design and testing.

\u00B7 Design electronic circuits, make the schematic, run simulation of electronic circuits, supervise layout design.

\u00B7 Contribute to the design, optimization, and maintenance of our platform hardware.

\u00B7 Understand the concept of continuous evolution of hardware releases and architect from get go the strategy to implement that.

\u00B7 Work directly with product owners to recommend and then implement new features, to define and analyse requirements, create work items, and assign work to a team of software engineers as needed.

\u00B7 Manage procurement of electronic board prototypes doing hardware bring up and circuit characterization.

\u00B7 Test electronic board to secure performance and compliance to design requirements as well as to Electrolux quality standards

\u00B7 Support testing activities in Electrolux labs to validate integration of designed electronics into appliances (i.e., ovens, fridges, dishwashers.).

\u00B7 Support purchasing in the discussion for suppliers' selection.

\u00B7 Collaborate with peers in a product team and other hardware teams to deliver results and grow the team together.

Who you are:



\u00B7 You have experience working on hardware evolving over time (embedded design experience is good to have) .

\u00B7 You have good knowledge of EMC standards (particularly for white goods).

\u00B7 You understand electronic manufacturing process, Printed Circuit Boards Assembly (PCBA).

\u00B7 You have experience working with testing Electronics along manufacturing, writing test specification.

\u00B7 You are familiar with Teamcenter PLM software by Siemens.

\u00B7 You are skilled with CADENCE PCB design system (OrCAD, SPICE, ALLEGRO)

Where you'll be:

This is a full-time position, based at our Global Headquarters in Stockholm/Stadshagen (Sweden) or in Porcia, Forl\u00EC or Susegana (Italy).

At our Global Headquarters in Stockholm/Stadshagen (Sweden) we are 60+ nationalities under the same roof and we enjoy the look and feel of the office! Porcia and Susegana (Italy) are about 1-hour distance from the city of Venice. Whereas Forl\u00EC (Italy) is 1-hour away from Bologna.

Regardless of the chosen location, you will be part of a dynamic international team where English is the natural language.
