Location: Dallas, TX Day 1 onsite

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Integration Developer to design, build, and support integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using low code and pro-code techniques.

This role requires hands-on experience with Job Definitions, Column Mappings, and REST Insert Multiple logic often used together in Integration Hub and custom scoped applications for bulk data integrations.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing modular, reusable integrations that scale, maintain clean data architecture, and support error handling and auditability.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub).
• Strong understanding of Job Definitions, Column Mappings, REST APIs, and Insert Multiple techniques.
• Proven experience creating scoped applications and configuring cross-scope table access.
• Proficient in GlideRecord scripting, Flow Designer, and Script Includes.
• Ability to read and parse JSON/XML responses and transform data before insert.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow data models and ACL design.
• Familiarity with staging table design, retry mechanisms, and logging best practices.
• ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer, CSA) required.
• Experience with IntegrationHub Spokes, MID Server configuration, or OAuth/API Key auth flows.
• Experience with bi-directional synchronization between systems.
• Familiarity with platform APIs of systems like SAP, Workday, Salesforce, or JIRA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Integration Development & Configuration Design and implement Job Definitions to schedule or trigger integration flows.
• Define and manage Column Mappings to map external payload fields to internal ServiceNow table fields.
• Configure and use REST Insert Multiple for efficient bulk data insertion.
• Build and test staging tables, auth profiles, REST messages, and associated script includes.
• Implement robust error handling, logging, and optional retry queues.
• Discovery & Solution Design Conduct stakeholder workshops to gather integration requirements.
• Analyze API contracts and confirm data ownership, frequency, and transformation rules.
• Prepare source-to-target mapping documentation and identify assumptions and dependencies.
• Determine integration cadence (e.g., hourly, daily) and define SLA-based triggers or job schedules.
• Testing & Deployment Conduct end-to-end integration testing including edge cases and high-volume payloads.
• Document integration logic, error logs, and retry behavior.
• Package solutions via update sets or application deployment packages.
• Support deployment to production and post-go-live validation.
