Senior Salesforce Engineer - Data Cloud & CRMA

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer with deep expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud, CRM Analytics (CRMA), and Snowflake integrations. Our client recently went live with an integrated solution spanning Salesforce, Data Cloud, and Snowflake-but has encountered significant issues in production. This role is critical in diagnosing and resolving these challenges to stabilize the environment and ensure reliable data insights.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and triage issues within the Salesforce Data Cloud and CRMA environment post-production launch.


• Review and optimize integrations between Salesforce, Data Cloud, and Snowflake.


• Collaborate with client-side data engineering, analytics, and CRM teams to understand the data architecture and pain points.


• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions, including redesign or reconfiguration of Data Cloud flows and CRMA dashboards.


• Refine data ingestion, transformation, and unification processes within Salesforce Data Cloud.


• Enhance and validate data models and dashboards in CRMA to ensure accurate reporting.


• Document recommendations and implement best practices to support long-term system scalability and performance.


• Provide expert-level guidance and hands-on support throughout stabilization and optimization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Salesforce development/engineering experience.


• Hands-on expertise with Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP) and CRM Analytics (CRMA).


• Proven experience integrating Snowflake with Salesforce and/or Data Cloud.


• Strong knowledge of Salesforce data architecture, including data modeling, harmonization, and identity resolution.


• Proficiency in Apex, LWC's, SOQL, Flows, and Salesforce APIs.


• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills in a complex data-driven environment.


• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure situation with production-critical systems.

Nice to Have

• Salesforce certifications in Data Cloud, CRMA, or Platform Developer.


• Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines, especially in Snowflake or similar data platforms.


• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Gearset.

Additional Details

The base range for this contract position is $120-130/per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered.
