Position: Infrastructure Operation Manager
Location: Morrisville, NC (onsite)
Contract
Job Description:
- Lead the daily operations of IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance of all systems and services.
- Manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and automation tools.
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to support continuous deployment and operational efficiency.
- Ensure systems are compliant with security policies and regulatory standards.
- Lead a team of system administrators, cloud engineers, and support staff.
- Create documentation, SOPs, and dashboards for infrastructure monitoring and reporting.
- Participate in IT budgeting, vendor management, and capacity planning.
- Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in IT infrastructure management and operations.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Active Directory, Virtual Networks, Resource Manager, Azure Monitor, etc.
- Familiarity with hybrid environments (cloud + on-premise).
- Experience with automation tools such as PowerShell, Terraform, or Azure CLI.
- Solid understanding of ITIL practices, incident management, and change control.
- Leadership experience managing technical teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect).
- Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps culture.
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
