The team

Our team is focused on driving growth for our SAP practice. This team consists of SAP-centric Sales staff and presales staff who support client software demos, manage the software reseller business, and support collaboration to retain our SAP Reseller status. The team also includes Marketing staff who help support brand recognition and demand-generation activities. There are also global team members who will benefit from sharing knowledge and forging new global relationships within the SAP community.

The role:

As an SAP Alliance Manager at Hitachi Digital Services, you will:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and uphold a strategic vision that aligns with both Hitachi Digital Services and SAP's business goals, ensuring a partnership that leverages our combined strengths.
  • Foster alignment with SAP practice goals and collaborate with Sales and industry teams worldwide to ensure SAP alignment across various regions.
  • Create and execute an annual global Go-To-Market alliance plan with clear quarterly and annual objectives, key initiatives, and success metrics, aimed at boosting the SAP Sales pipeline.
  • Develop successful sales strategies and compelling solution offerings for targeted segments and geographies, in partnership with sales and marketing teams.
  • Drive the development of Hitachi solutions that complement SAP's offerings, targeting high-opportunity areas.
  • Engage with senior leaders within Hitachi Digital Services and partner organizations to ensure executive-level alignment and define strategic objectives for the partnership.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration within Hitachi Digital Services and across Hitachi teams to present a unified approach to the partnership.
  • Collaborate with Alliance Marketing teams to increase market awareness and demand for joint solutions through various marketing initiatives.
  • Manage the SAP partner program and scorecard, orchestrating management reporting and Quarterly Business Reviews with key stakeholders.
  • Direct the partnership towards achieving outcomes that reinforce Hitachi Digital Services' position as a leader in providing SAP services and solutions.

What you bring:

  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience, preferably in a global SAP professional services organization in an Alliance Leadership role.
  • A proven track record of building and leading global, revenue-generating partnerships.
  • Hands-on leadership experience in Sales, Marketing, and Service delivery.
  • Familiarity with the SAP reseller quote to cash process.
  • A bachelor s degree in a relevant field.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
