Job Description

Role: Associate Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC/OAS/FAW) Consultant

Location: Near Pleasanton, CA, is preferred, followed by Austin. Other locations in the US may also be considered but need to be able to work west coast hours ( 8:30/9:15 to 5:00/5:45 pm PST/PDT (based on DST).

Note: This position is not eligible for C2C arrangements as it is direct hire. No sponsorship available.

Customer Success Services is looking for a junior professional with a technical & functional background in the Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC/OAS/FAW). Ideal candidate understands not only the concepts of Financials but also how they apply to the day-to-day processes of a Production business environment. You will support critical business operations and work with customers on the successful delivery of Analytics projects (Implementation/Upgrade/migrations, etc.). Will work independently to provide quality service to multiple customer engagements.

The team provides technical & functional services to all customers' applications & software hosted in OCI / OnPrem / Hybrid, using ITIL, ISO2000 & other industry specific best practices. Driving adoption of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) for our customer is main objective. We accelerate the OCI adoption by showcasing the prowess of Oracle's cloud technology as well as our valued added engineering solutions that provides highly differentiated service experience to our customers in cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze functional and operational issues reported by the customer with their Oracle Analytics Cloud/Data Warehouse environment and provide the solution or workaround on time
  • Interact with customer implementation team and provide guidance on the Oracle Product Best Practices
  • Assist on the development of customer solutions (pre-implementation), as well as address customer questions and concerns regarding the functionality of their Oracle OACS/Fusion Data Intelligence environments (post-implementation, ongoing maintenance)
  • Perform root cause analyses and recommend meaningful recommendations to the customers to avoid similar issues going forward
  • Collaborate with Partners internally within Oracle and on customer side for successful delivery

  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams and be a part of complete project experience from concept to implementation.

Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or an equivalent engineering/science field
  • Background in Oracle Fusion SaaS application and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC/OAS/FAW (FDI))
  • Business Intelligence tools like Tableau and Power BI a plus
  • Functional experience working with OAC/OAS and Data Warehouse
  • Goal-oriented for technology and a strong desire to learn about AI/ML, Natural language processing, and innovative technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking abilities.
  • Desire to be part of a continuous learning and professional growth culture.
  • Complex technical problem-solving competence and ability to conceptualize innovative solutions.
  • Exceptional professionalism and work ethic, with ability to meet targets
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of database concepts and Linux OS.
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms and services and an eagerness to deepen your expertise.
  • Apply original thinking and continuous improvement to processes, products, systems or services and manage change to better serve customer needs
  • DevOps skills - Python, Docker, Kubernetes - will be added advantage
  • Latest certification in Oracle Cloud Infra & Oracle OBIEE technologies a plus

US: Hiring Range: from $27.02 to $54.13 per hour; from $56,200 to $112,600 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
