   Vice President, Technology

The Vice President, Technology is a visionary and execution-focused leader responsible for developing and delivering enterprise-wide technology strategies across a global portfolio of stadiums, arenas, convention centers, and large-scale entertainment and hospitality environments. This role oversees the full lifecycle of technology from planning and design to implementation, operations, and innovation and ensures seamless, scalable, and secure systems that elevate both operations and guest experience.
The VP partners closely with business, operations, and regional technology leaders to shape the future of connected, data-driven facilities and reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer.
Must have experience leading technology operations for arenas or other large-scale environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute a multi-year technology roadmap aligned with business goals, operational priorities, and guest experience standards.
 - Lead enterprise-wide initiatives including smart facility platforms, digital twin technologies, and AI-driven operational intelligence.
 - Oversee design and operations of mission-critical systems, including networking (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi, DAS, 5G), AV/broadcast, access control, ticketing, and compute environments.
 - Direct large-scale, multi-site technology programs (e.g., frictionless retail, RFID asset tracking, cellular modernization).
 - Build and mentor a high-performing team of regional and on-site technologists, fostering innovation and accountability.
 - Manage vendor strategy, including RFPs, contracts, SLAs, and performance metrics.
 - Evaluate and pilot emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency, sustainability, and guest engagement.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required; Master s or MBA preferred.
 - Minimum 15 years of progressive technology leadership experience, including 7+ years in executive roles overseeing multi-site or enterprise-level operations.
 - Must have experience working in a large venue or arena setting
 - Direct experience managing technology for arenas, stadiums, convention centers, or other large-scale environments is required.
 - Proven record of delivering complex infrastructure and digital transformation projects.
 - Expertise in networking, AV/broadcast, access/security, hybrid cloud, and guest-facing technology ecosystems.
 - Strong financial acumen with experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets and vendor ecosystems.
 - Skilled at translating technical strategy into measurable business outcomes.
