Job Title : Space Force MUOS TTC Systems Engineer

Job Description: Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for a Space Force MUOS TTC Systems Engineer to work a hybrid/flex schedule from their Scottsdale, AZ office. As a Space Force MUOS Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) engineer in the Space, Cyber & Intelligence Systems business area, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for defining, developing, testing and sustaining specialized solutions that are used by our warfighters worldwide on patrol in hostile environments, whether urban, canyon, mountains, or jungles - or even the Arctic Circle. The system provides a familiar cellular phone-like service, allowing forces on the ground to communicate directly with others at higher levels of quality and much greater capacity than available through the current system. Not only do we maintain the current live system, but you will help add new capabilities, enhancements and replace end of life components.

Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

- Develop and document system architectures, behavioral descriptions and interfaces
- Define and review system requirements and requirement verification test plans
- Design, development, integration and test of hardware systems
- Integrated telemetry, tracking and commanding (TT&C) system hardware and software
- Troubleshooting ground to satellite communications
- Encryption and digital forward error correction.
- Experience with digital and radio frequency (RF) systems and test equipment
- Scripting using Perl, Python and modern software languages
