Job Details

Title: ServiceNow Developer


Location: Jersey City, NJ -- 4x- Onsite (No relocation & no sponsorships)


Duration: 5-6 months contract (Possibility of Extension)


Payrate: $70/hr - $80/hr

Required Skillset/Experience:



  • 5-8 years of overall technical experience with ServiceNow platform development, administration/management, configuration, integration, upgrade, and continuous improvement

  • Deep functional and technical understanding and implementation experience with ITSM products, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management, is required.

  • Functional and technical experience with interactions, Service Operations Workspace, and Employee Service Center or Service portal is required.

  • Knowledge of ServiceNow orchestration and automation is required.

  • Experience implementing integration with external systems using REST API and file-based integration is required.

  • Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Angular.js, Perl, PowerShell, or development using Java or .NET is required.

  • Experience with backend SQL Server development is required.

  • Experience implementing AI capabilities and Virtual Agent is preferred.

  • Strong technical hands-on experience with GRC and IT Operations Management is preferred.

  • Experience managing platform availability, performance, and security is preferred.

  • Experience developing ServiceNow APIs, ServiceNow Workflows, Flow Designer, UI Pages, UI Macros, Business Scripts, Client Scripts, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, Script Includes, Security Rules

  • Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Angular.js, Perl, and PowerShell

  • A good understanding of ServiceNow CMDB and ITIL is preferred.

  • Ability to create custom reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI would be a plus.

  • Familiarity with ServiceNow Performance Analytics would be a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, communication, and collaboration skills


Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for the development, capability maturity, and sustained support of multiple ServiceNow products.

  • Provide technical stewardship and play a key role in the transformation of the IT Service Management platform while supporting the current state.

  • Take ownership and collaborate with ITSM process/function owners and SMEs across IT to design, develop, test, implement, and support ServiceNow ITSM capabilities and associated integrations with external systems.

  • Lead the requirements and design workshops.

  • Analyze existing processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement, consolidation, and enhancements.

  • Engage in day-to-day operational support and continuous capability improvement.

  • Engage in on-call support as needed.

  • Maintain adequate process, operational documentation, and reporting.
