An Entry-Level Repair Engineer job in Lynn, MA is available at Belcan. This is a full-time, direct opportunity with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will have a degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.

A Repair Engineering Job in Lynn, MA is currently available through Belcan. The role of the Repair Engineer is to develop Repair Engineering Instructions (REI). REI for a typical engine field returned part provides cleaning methods, serviceable and repairable inspection limits to accept, reject, or refurbish part by repairing. Typical repair procedures require use of manufacturing processes like, machining, welding, brazing, thermal spray, tooling, etc. Repair Engineers work closely with customer design, material, and military depot engineers to get the REI approved to publish in engine maintenance manuals. Repairs will support the next generation of the US military's helicopter engine. This is an exciting opportunity with potential opportunities for management in the future!

Job Duties:
* Develop repairs and repair technologies for rotating and stationary parts for gas turbine engines.
* Coordinate technical and regulatory approval for repairs and repair enhancements.
* Ensure that component repair facilities meet Repair Source Substantiation requirements when industrializing new repairs.
* Provide technical support to internal and external Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul shops requesting on-going technical solutions and industrializing of new repairs.

Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering. Other degrees acceptable depending on experience.
* Manufacturing processes knowledge.
* Excellent writing skills in English.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
* 2 years of experience in aviation repair engineering or aviation manufacturing engineering.
* Prior experience with technical writing; the role will require clear and concise technical instruction and documentation.
* Attentive to details focusing on quality and minimizing errors.
* Experience working in an export control environment.
* Customer focused personality. Those who are friendly, communicative, and eager to succeed will excel.

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $68,640 - $72,800.
