Job description:

As the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for large-scale, complex, and cross-functional client projects.

You will focus on maintaining margin, delivery efficiency, quality, risk mitigation, and resolution.

The ideal candidate should have experience structuring and leading projects comprised of multidisciplinary resources and parallel lines of business, with demonstrated success in collaborating with key agency stakeholders.

With your skills, you will:

• Work with account and client stakeholders to instill and enforce processes, workflows, and tools that support the profitable delivery of client work.
• Contribute to a culture of delivery efficiency and excellence with the larger project management and/or program management department.
• Be responsible for the scoping and management of multiple concurrent small- to large-scale projects and client engagements.
• Partner with Client Services leads to actively manage business challenges, client relationships, estimates, and staffing plans against scoped work and to maintain profit margin.
• Partner with Creative leads to effectively shepherd and manage the evolution of creative work, ensuring quality at all points from concept through delivery.
• Partner with Resource Managers from production, and technology departments to ensure connections and collaborations happen where they should, in support of innovative and award-winning creative ideas.
• Maintain and enforce high standards of communications and documentation, including status, financial reports, timelines, scopes, change orders, burn reports, forecasting, best practices, and asset management.
• Manage large projects independently from initiation through support production through completion.
• Partner with the internal team to continuously optimize existing operational processes and systems, ensuring buy-in and compliance with directs.
• Proactively manage, provide guidance, and develop clear communications around the project and business-related risks, including mitigation planning and crisis management.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• 7+ years of experience in project management and/or client relationship development within IT Infrastructure, Applications development with Public Sector Background
• Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and OneNote
• Highly accountable, natural problem solver and instinctive, detail-oriented collaborator
• Possess strong interpersonal skills, a "can-do" attitude, as well as great verbal and written communication skills
• Avid multi-tasker and comfortable managing multiple concurrent deadlines with ease
• Motivate and lead others in the development, direction, and execution of IT Infra projects, Applications development in the public sector environment.
• Experience facilitating the definition of project scope, tasks, goals, resource requirements, deliverables, project plan, and schedule/timelines in agile methogology.
• Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, and change management

• PMI certification (PMP preferred)
• Experience working in project management tools like Microsoft Project, Workfront, Azure DevOps, and Planner
