They ll guide the technical direction for ongoing enhancements and cloud (AWS) evolution (30%), but will also be hands-on leading front and back-end configuration, production-issue resolution/ prioritization, and system troubleshooting, to ensure operational stability (70%).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years experience in enterprise application/systems architecture and engineering preferably in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
  • Proven experience leading front-end and back-end architecture and acting as the SME (Subject Matter Expert) for escalated, Level3 support, configuration, and production issues.
  • Expertise building, configuring, and tuning Apache, Tomcat, and IIS middle-ware servers, to support high-availability Java and .NET applications.
  • Strong Linux and Windows server administration skills, for application hosting and configuration.
  • Strong Oracle database (PL/SQL) knowledge, for database management, performance tuning and resolving connectivity issues.
  • Experience with enterprise identity/ access management (IAM) protocols like SSO (Single Sign-On), SAML, OIDC, and OAuth across integrated ERP systems (e.g., Oracle ERP), to allow user access across multiple applications.
  • Experience with certificate lifecycle management (ie: OpenSSL), to secure communication between systems, applications, and users.
  • Experience planning and supporting (preferably AWS) cloud migrations and designing scalable architecture or other major cloud platforms.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Prior GE experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the technical design, configuration, and performance of high-priority enterprise labeling and printing applications and systems within the supply chain division.
  • Serve as SME for Level 3 support, resolving complex production and configuration issues that span front-end, back-end, infrastructure, and integrations.
  • Build, configure, and tune middleware and web servers (Apache, Tomcat, IIS) to support high-availability Java and .NET applications.
  • Manage Linux and Windows servers used for application hosting and system configuration.
  • Collaborate with ERP, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure seamless Oracle ERP integration.
  • Lead planning and execution of cloud migration initiatives, designing scalable, secure architecture within AWS.

  • Support IAM protocols (SSO, SAML, OIDC, OAuth) across integrated applications, ensuring secure, federated user access.
  • Provide oversight on application and infrastructure roadmaps, technical documentation, and operational standards.
  • Support ongoing enhancements (30%) while maintaining operational stability (70%).
