GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
The Painter/Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, repair, and painting tasks to ensure that company buildings and facilities remain in good repair, functional, and visually appealing. This role requires attention to detail, safe work practices, and the ability to perform tasks both independently and as part of a team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare, prime, and paint interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, doors, and trim.
- Perform general building repairs, including drywall patching, basic carpentry, and minor plumbing or electrical work.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on facilities and equipment.
- Assist with furniture moves, fixture installations, and other setup tasks.
- Maintain tools, supplies, and work areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Respond to work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communicate status of work and recommend improvements or repairs needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Experience and Skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or vocational training preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in painting, maintenance, or related handyman work.
- Knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and proper use of tools and materials.
- Ability to perform basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in various positions.
