Overview

LMI is seeking a skilled PEGA Solution Architect/Engineer to join our growing team supporting mission-critical systems for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on development experience with PEGA, as well as solution architecture expertise in complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Solution Architecture, design, development, and maintenance of PEGA-based applications in support of DoD programs.
  • Translate business requirements into robust, scalable PEGA solutions.
  • Provide architectural guidance and governance to ensure adherence to PEGA and DoD standards.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, stakeholders, business analysts, and developers to drive project success.
  • Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and code reviews to meet all DoD RMF/Security requirements.
  • Support secure software development practices and compliance with DoD policies.
  • Produce system documentation, design artifacts, and support materials.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in PEGA development and architecture
  • PEGA CSA or CSSA certification (LSA is a plus)
  • PEGA specific:
    • Pega Platform experience (App Studio, Dev Studio, and Admin Studio)
    • Pega UI/IX development
    • Pega Business Process Modeling (Case Management) and Data Modeling (Report Definitions, List Views)
    • Pega Integration Process (REST Connectors, Data Pages, Data Transforms, and Connect Rules)
    • Pega Security and Access Control (Access Groups, Roles, Privileges)
  • Additional:
    • HTML5/BootStrap/jQuery/JavaScript (web development)
    • JSON/XML (data structure, syntax rules, usage in REST)
    • Java development
  • Proven experience working on DoD or other federal systems
  • Proven experience working within an Agile SDLC environment
  • Understanding of DoD compliance and security requirements (e.g., RMF, STIGs)
  • Experience integrating PEGA applications with other enterprise systems and services
  • Strong problem-solving and exceptional communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active Secret (or higher) DoD security clearance
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, etc.)

Work Location: If less than 50 miles - FT Gregg Adams, Virginia, if more than 50 miles 100% remote will be considered.
