Job Description:
This role involves monitoring and responding to security incidents within the IT infrastructure in Chicago, IL.
As a contract position, the analyst will work with a team to investigate and mitigate potential threats using various security technologies.
The ideal candidate will have experience in security operations and incident response, particularly in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze security events to identify threats and risks.
Respond promptly to security incidents and follow established procedures.
Collect and analyze digital evidence related to incidents.
Develop and maintain incident response procedures and playbooks.
Collaborate with security partners to investigate suspicious activities.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Information Security.
3-5 years of experience in IT security focusing on security operations.
Knowledge of security technologies like firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
Experience in incident response, particularly in cloud environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities.
