Overview:
We are seeking a proactive Desktop Support Technician to provide deskside and remote technical assistance for end users in a fast-paced enterprise environment. This role focuses on hardware/software troubleshooting, account administration, and deployment of devices using modern endpoint management tools.
Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional customer service while resolving technical issues for desktops, laptops, peripherals, handheld devices, and printers.
Take ownership of assigned tasks and drive them to completion with minimal supervision.
Manage Active Directory tasks, including account creation, password resets, and assigning users to SSO and Intune app deployment groups.
Support Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and troubleshoot related issues.
Administer and support Intune MDM for device enrollment, compliance, and application deployment.
Perform PC deployments and imaging, leveraging Microsoft Autopilot for automated provisioning.
Provide Citrix environment support, including virtual desktop troubleshooting and user access management.
Document incidents, resolutions, and workflows accurately in a ticketing system (SysAid or similar).
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure timely escalation and resolution of complex issues.
Maintain adherence to company standards, security policies, and best practices for IT operations.
Required Qualifications:
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Hands-on experience with Windows 10/11 workstation support in networked environments.
Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Intune MDM.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
Experience documenting technical issues in ITSM tools (SysAid, ServiceNow, Cherwell, etc.).
Nice to Have:
Experience with Microsoft Autopilot for device deployment.
Citrix support background.
Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell) and project coordination experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
