Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Data Analyst II in San Diego, CA.
Overview:
Do you have a passion for using data to drive business strategies and optimize performance? Come join the Customer Success, Live Services Growth Team as a Business Data Analyst. Our team works to grow Live Services for consumers; Live Services is the fastest-growing segment at this company, and key to their strategy to unlock an additional (USD)30 billion TAM. We work cross-functionally to deliver operational strategies, manage service experiences, and provide deep analytical insights to scale our live services efficiently. As a team member within our Consumer Group, you will be in a position to assess business performance and influence leadership decisions that ultimately affect our customers.
Responsibilities
* Drive business results: You will identify and help craft the most important KPIs to monitor the effectiveness of our operations and drive automated availability of those metrics; Amidst a sea of data, you will distill the data into key storylines that create a shared understanding of opportunities and influence teams to act
* Amplify reporting insights: You will demonstrate your reporting craft by reimagining the existing reporting suite of dashboards using data visualization best practices, including uniform visuals, metric definitions, and accessible data dictionaries, to provide a comprehensive view of KPI performance
* Improve operational performance: You will identify areas of operational and experiential opportunity using data-driven insights and root cause analysis, providing recommendations to subject-matter experts, and partnering with teams to optimize to improve customer experiences and enable more efficient business processes
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelors (or commensurate working experience)
* 5+ years of experience working in the analytics field; Ability to tell stories with data, educate effectively, and instill confidence, motivating stakeholders to act on recommendations
* Experience as a business partner for senior leaders; Comfortable distilling complex data into a simple storyline
* Highly proficient in SQL, Tableau
* Outstanding communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues
* Excited to mentor other team members and developing talent
* Excellent problem-solving skills and end to end quantitative thinking Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and key deadlines
* Proactive and inquisitive learner; Seeks out and capitalizes on opportunities for change that enhance the business, rather than reacting to circumstances
* Experience with programming languages including R or Python preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
